What time do I need to arrive and how long will I be there?
You must arrive 15 minutes before the class start time. No one will be admitted after the class begins because you are required to be present for the entire class. You will not receive credit for the class if you arrive late or leave early. The class, discussion, and completion of paperwork will take about 3 hours.
What is Debtor Education Financial Management Course?
This is a mandatory 2 hour class dealing with financial management that is required to be taken before an individual can receive a discharge in their bankruptcy case.
Can you give me some information about the class?
This class is taught by Dave Ramsey via video. The video is a participation video in which you will follow along and complete a workbook with the video. Topics covered in this program include saving money, cash flow planning, debt and repayment, real estate and mortgages, bargain shopping, the influence of marketing on buying decisions, insurance, and credit bureaus.

How much does the class cost?
This class is free for anyone that has a case assigned to Nancy J. Whaley, Standing Chapter 13 Trustee.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring picture identification and a pencil.

Classes to be held at 303 Peachtree Center Avenue, NE, Suite 120, Truist Garden Offices, Atlanta GA 30303. For directions, click here.
Where do I park?
We recommend you take Marta and exit the Peachtree Center Stop. See directions to the office which include walking directions from Marta. Parking is available in our building at a rate of $1.00 for every 15 minutes so the approximate cost will be $12.00 for the class. There are street lots available but please allow ample time to park and walk to the office.
